Episode 15 - Wagman, Inc.

George A. Wagman began a small manufacturing business producing concrete sidewalk slabs and ornamental products in 1902. The business has since transformed into Wagman, Inc. and is still family owned and currently led by its fourth generation. Its subsidiaries, Wagman Construction and Wagman Heavy Civil, specialize in general construction, heavy civil, and geotechnical services. Wagman Construction, Inc. operates in downtown York, PA, serving diverse markets across Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland. Meanwhile, Wagman Heavy Civil, with offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia, offers a comprehensive range of construction services in the Mid-Atlantic and Southern Regions, encompassing design-build projects, bridges, structures, highways, excavation, drainage, marine construction, bonded concrete overlays, grooving and grinding, and geotechnical services.

Join me as I sit down with Lisa Wagman Glezer, the current fourth-generation leader, as she shares the remarkable journey of Wagman, Inc. Central to their corporate culture lies the "Wagman Way" – a set of embedded values and guiding principles that span four generations. These values and principles have deeply instilled an enduring commitment to excellence, fostering generational employees and sustaining their lasting success and impact not only within the industry but also within their communities.
